TELLING YOUR STORY
Here are six examples of different life situations, as well as advocacy stories for each. The Arc of Pennsylvania encourages families and self advocates to tell their stories to public officials and legislators, in order to educate them on the issues that challenge children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The following are examples of these advocacy efforts and how to tell your story.
