These are links related to mental retardation and developmental disabilities. Some of the links are related to specific syndromes or disabilities such as Down syndrome or autism. Others will connect you with sites related to governmental and legislative issues. If you find a broken link or find that a site listed below is objectionable, please feel free to email us. Selecting these links will take you off of The Arc of Pennsylvania site.

Always check our ‘Local Chapters’ to determine if there is a chapter of The Arc in your county.  Many of our local chapters offer programs and services for children and adults with cognitive, intellectual, and developmental disabilities and their families.

Resource Directory

(Click to download)

The Arc of PA 2007 Resource Directory and Guide to Essential Services was made possible by a generous donation by the Bartelmay Family.
The Resource Directory is an introduction to services and supports for persons with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is divided into sections for easier usage and contains mostly Pennsylvania based agencies.
