The annual membership meeting highlights what should be an exciting day for members of The Arc in Pennsylvania on March 22. The Pennsylvania Conference of Executives of The Arc hold their quarterly meeting to start the day, followed by the state chapter’s board meeting, and then followed by its membership meeting. The following day, on March 23, The Arc of PA’s “Systems Advocacy & Government Affairs Day” will take place, ending with a legislative reception in Harrisburg. All meetings except for the legislative reception will take place at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg East 4751 Lindle Road. The Holiday Inn is less than 6 miles from downtown Harrisburg.
* PA Conference of Executives Meeting
The Pennsylvania Conference of Executives of The Arc will hold its quarterly meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22.
* The Arc of PA Board Of Directors
The Board will hold its annual meeting at 1:30pm on Monday, March 22.
* Annual Membership Meeting of The Arc of PA
The annual meeting of the membership will be held at 3pm on Monday, March 22. The general purpose of the meeting is to elect a certain number of the at-large members of the Board of Directors, consider changes to the chapter’s by-laws, and take care of other business of the membership.
* “SAGA Day” - Tuesday, March 23
The Arc of Pennsylvania's annual Systems Advocacy & Government Affairs Day will be held Tuesday, March 23. The agenda is still being developed but it is expected to offer sessions on The Arc’s state public policy priorities, support brokerages, and a discussion about the upcoming governor’s race. There will be a minimal fee for attendees to cover lunch expenses. The evening legislative reception will be held at the Harrisburg Hilton from 5-7pm.
